Overview

Beat Making is a 3 part series that works with artists that have some familiarity with the art of beat making but want to up their expertise and collaborate with others. Each session will include listening, a short presentation, and opportunities to experiment in the art form.

BEAT MAKING is led by In Progress artist Cassie McDuffee. Claiming herself as a musical anarchist, Cassieopia is a DJ and producer, from St. Paul, Minnesota. Her buzz has landed her to DJ and share original music on legendary stages such as 7th Street Entry, Amsterdam bar and Hall, Honey Night Club, The Turf Club, Icehouse, and more.

Each session will be limited to 8 participants. Register by clicking on the button at the bottom of this page. There is no cost to participate but it is expected that those register will attend each session. Early registration is highly recommended.

Location

Activities will take place at In Progress - 213 Front Avenue, Saint Paul, MN.
