Nigigoonsikwe Humphrey

Nigigoonsikwe Humphrey is a developing media artist that has been creating stories since the age of 9 years old. She lives in Cass lake Minnesota and goes to school at the Niigaane Immersion Language Program at the Bug O Nay Ge Shig School.

Qualifications

Nigigoonsikwe is currently serving as part of a five member digital production team at her school called Niigaane Bindamoo Makak (Niigaane Radio). She has been studying photography for several years and recently began learning music and podcasting. Since 2024 she has assisted In Progress as a peer mentor.
