Let’s make a Float

help us design and make a float for oxcart days

Overview

Studio 110 artists have wanted to add a float to the Ox Cart Days for years and years. Well this year we are going to do it but we need help. During the month of July, we will be working on the design and construction of a float for the big Crookston event. We have no idea what we are doing but we figure we will learn together.

Lead Artists

Studio 110 artist Mallorie Danny Zapata will lead this activity with support from Studio 110 Coordinator Rena Zapata. This is a pilot project where even the leaders are learners. EXCITING!

SCHEDULE

Let’s Make A Float meets twice weekly during the month of July on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1-3PM as follows:

• July 7

• July 12 & 14

• July 19 & 21

• July 26 & 28

Location

All activity will take place at In Progress - Studio 110 / 110 South Main Street, Crookston MN. 56716

Registration

Room is limited to 12 participants (any age), so please make sure you register early. It will also be important that you commit to most if not all of the sessions. We will be documenting our progress at the studio and sharing with the public.
