sound engineering / performance / artist assessments / board support

Eemanna is a Minneapolis-based multimedia artist whose creative practice bridges both auditory and visual art forms. She began recording music at the age of 13 through her involvement with the Nexus Cohort at In Progress, an experience that sparked her dedication to exploring sound as a powerful storytelling tool. Over the years, she has expanded her practice to include work as a musician and ceramic artist, demonstrating a passion for pushing creative boundaries and experimenting across mediums.

Influenced by artists from around the world—from the electronic stylings of Little Dragon to the soulful storytelling of The Fugees—Eemanna draws on a wide range of musical and cultural inspirations. Her work is defined by its curiosity and emotional depth, reflecting her belief that art is a way to process the world, question assumptions, and imagine new possibilities.

In addition to her own creative work, Eemanna is committed to community arts education. She currently serves as both a teaching artist and artist coordinator at In Progress, where she supports emerging artists, shares her knowledge, and helps facilitate programs that make creative expression accessible to all. Through her work, Eemanna strives to foster spaces where art can be a catalyst for personal growth, community connection, and transformative dialogue.
