CONVERGENCE

In Progress received a unique grant award to support 3 film artists in advancing their skills as professional producers through intensive mentorship, and national networking. In 2025, 3 filmmakers - Mickies Kiros, Tiana LaPointe and Kazua Melissa Vang will participate in intensive goal development, project development and the building of networks that will support them in breaking barriers often experienced in the field. Artists will receive mentorship from professional producers, and will develop a supportive peer teaching cohort. Each artist selected to participate will also receive a stipend for their participation in the program. More information will be made mid May 2025. READ MORE.

Digital Journeys

Digital Journeys is a mentorship program for youth that are committed to learning what it takes to be a creative digital arts maker.  Participants of this program  receive individualized support in the areas of photography, video or music.  The program is dedicated to building the skills of newly developing artists, providing teaching and mentorship opportunities with professional artists and removing age, economic and cultural barriers to artistic development.  READ MORE.

FISCAL Sponsorship

In Progress provides fiscal sponsorship to artists with ideas. The organization provides financial oversight for small film projects and community initiatives that meet our purpose of “paving the way for new voices. READ MORE.

Mentor Dinners

Beginning in 2025, In Progress will provide opportunities for those who are mentoring and leading program activity for In Progress to come together, share ideas, concerns and opportunities for one another.
