In Progress’s board and staff reflect the cultural, economic and artistic characteristics of the diverse communities it serves. 94% of those listed below identify as non-white, with approximately 90% identifying as low income or poor. 35% live in rural or tribal communities. 14% are under the age of 21. It should also be noted that there are no employees at In Progress. Every contributor either volunteers their time, or works as an independent contractor. This enables our leaders to work professionally in other fields, network with other artists and pursue their professional goals.
